SYNOPSIS
In Western Pennsylvania there is a group of merry friends who run for a reason. They are all connected by one incurable disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Lead and organized by Mary Amrhein - May, a mother of two, one of whom was diagnosed with Crohn's on May 21st 2009, she assembles her local community to run, raise money, awareness, and search for the elusive cure for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. In The Stool, they sit and share their stories of the good the bad and the outright crappy.
